The terms on which you use this website, and what our content is — and is not. We have tried to keep this plain rather than dress it in boilerplate, in the same spirit as the rest of the site.
Who these terms are from.
This website belongs to Elixir Consulting Ltd ("elixir", "we", "us"), a clinical diagnostics advisory and the UK partner for Technoclone GmbH. By using elixir-consulting.co.uk you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
General information, not advice.
Everything here — the assay pages, figures, thresholds and commentary — is general professional information about haemostasis testing and diagnostics. It is not clinical advice for an individual patient, nor a laboratory, procurement or regulatory decision, and it is not a substitute for the manufacturer's current instructions for use (IFU), the primary literature, or your own validation.
The numbers we publish are drawn from cited third-party sources — peer-reviewed papers, guidelines and manufacturer documentation — and reproduced in good faith and with care. Sources are dated, and methods move on. Before any clinical or procurement decision, verify each figure against the current manufacturer IFU or the primary source. Where you would like a hand doing exactly that, get in touch.
The limits of our responsibility.
We take accuracy seriously, but we give no warranty that the site is complete, current or error-free, or that it will always be available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, elixir is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its content — including indirect or consequential loss, and loss arising from a decision taken on the basis of information published here.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Where you need advice you can act on for a specific decision, engage us — or another qualified adviser — for that purpose. A formal engagement is governed by its own written terms agreed with you, not by this notice.
Content and trademarks.
The text, design, figures and code of this site are owned by Elixir Consulting Ltd or used with permission, and are protected by copyright. You are welcome to read, share and cite pages with attribution; please do not republish substantial parts, or reproduce the design, without our permission.
Product and company names used on the site — including Technoclone, Ceveron, Technozym, Technochrom and any others — are trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners, used for identification and description only. Their use does not imply endorsement by, or affiliation with, those owners beyond any relationship we describe expressly.
elixir is an independent company. Where we describe ourselves as the "UK partner" for Technoclone GmbH, that denotes a commercial channel and advisory relationship — not a legal partnership under the Partnership Act 1890, and not an importer, distributor or UK Responsible Person role unless we state so expressly.
Fair use, and links out.
Please use the site lawfully and in good faith — do not attempt to disrupt it, misuse the contact route, or scrape it in a way that misrepresents us. The site links out to external sources such as PubMed, journals and guideline bodies for transparency; we do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or availability.
Changes, law and contact.
We may update these terms as the site or the law changes; the version here, dated above, is the current one. These terms — and any dispute about the site — are governed by the law of England & Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
