Legal · CookiesCookie policy.
The cookies this site uses, what each one is for, and how to change your mind at any time. Analytics cookies are set only if you accept them — nothing non-essential runs before you choose.
What cookies are, and how we ask.
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Some are essential for a site to work; others, like the ones we use for analytics, help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Until you choose, no analytics or other non-essential cookies are set. If you accept, we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, described below. If you decline, only the one strictly-necessary cookie that remembers your choice is stored, and the site works exactly the same.
The cookies we use.
Analytics cookies below are set only after you accept. The exact set placed by Google and Microsoft can change; their own cookie documentation is the definitive list, and we link it under each provider.

Changing or withdrawing your choice.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time — it costs you nothing and the site keeps working. Analytics cookies rely on your consent under UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
- On this site — open Cookie preferences (also in the footer of every page) and turn analytics off or on.
- In your browser — you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may affect how some websites work.
Providers and international transfers.
Google (Google Analytics) and Microsoft (Clarity) act as our processors for the analytics data. Because these are global providers, some data may be processed outside the UK. Where it is, we rely on the appropriate safeguards required by UK data-protection law — such as the UK Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses, or an adequacy decision. We do not sell your data, and we do not use these cookies for advertising.
How we handle the personal data you send us directly is set out in our Privacy & cookies notice.
Changes and contact.
We may update this policy as the site or the tools we use change; the version here, dated above, is current. Any question about cookies or your data can come straight to us.
